Hosting Infrastructure

Our Rockville, Maryland location is a specialized state-of-the-art hosting facility.  We offer an attactive value proposition for health care systems due to the specialized requirements associated with handling privacy protected or other sensitive healthcare related data. The raised floor, large UPS, space conditioned facility is protected by a dry fire chemical suppression system activated by a sensor array and physical security suitable for storage and handling of electronic Personal Health Information. Physical access to the facility is through cypher locked doors with active video surveillance

Our managed hosting infrastructure service includes the operation of firewalls, switches, physical infrastructure (power, cooling, ups, fire suppression, alarms, surveillance, access control, etc.), backup, disaster recovery, network and server intrusion prevention detection, vulnerability testing, virus/Trojan scanning, remote access, managed OS installs and updates, Online Customer Portal, Managed DNS, Server Monitoring & Automated Alerts, Network Monitoring, data encryption, data destruction, and detailed audit tracking.

Our customers can also choose from a range of options including:

  • Compute infrastructure consisting of Sunfire servers. Clients electing to use our server infrastructure in a Managed Hosting, Co-Managed solution can choose physical servers with memory ranging from 4-16 GB in 2 Single or 2 Dual core CPU Configurations. All servers have internal SAS drives and access to network attached storage. A range of storage options are available.
  • VMWare's VM/ESX technology for customers who prefer a virtualized solution or would like to deploy VM on the physical servers in dedicated standalone or high availability cluster configurations.
  • Systems are preloaded with Linux variant CentOS as part of the base configuration. We are able to accommodate any other operating system but additional charges may apply based on OEM licensing structures.
  • A wide range of options from shared infrastructure to multiple large dedicated appliances.
  • Access options including VPN, SSH, and remote consoles including remote monitoring and usage capability.
  • We provide a range of security services, such as intrusion prevention and detection, vulnerability scanning, worm, virus, malware protection, managed DNS, on-line customer portal, switches, cabling, weekly full and daily incremental backup, basic off-site storage, encryption services, data destruction, password management, audit tracking and data tracking to all our customers.
