Co-managed Hosting Services
Our co-Managed Hosting Solution is designed for healthcare organizations that do not want to own and manage physical infrastructure but who have substantial in-house application and database skills. In this solution we manage the hardware, network administration, backup, recovery, cyber security and access while your staff can manage the remaining components from the operating system to the applications.
Organizations that have their own software which is supporting their customer base or that are developing software will find this solution provides them the flexibility they need without the distractions of supporting the physical, network and security infrastructures.
Together, our organizations co-manage your system in the sense that we put in place operating 
and security procedures that outline which organization is responsible for operating and maintaining the various software components in the system. Although this may sound complex, it can be a highly effective solution that allows your organization to use its core strengths to advance your mission while relying on us to provide you the infrastructure support you need. The following are examples of some of the optional equipment and services available:
- Compute infrastructure consisting of current generation 2.8 GHz Sun X4100 M2 servers. Clients electing to use our server infrastructure in a Managed Hosting, Co-Managed solution can choose physical servers with memory ranging from 4-32 GB in 2 Duel or 2 Quad core CPU Configurations.
- internal SAS drive allocation, and RAID configurations and access to network attached storage and a range of storage options are available.
- firewalls, and routers
- internet bandwidth options for either metered (measured in 100’s of GBytes/month) or unmetered internet access.
- operating system and middleware software.
