caTissue is an open source biospecimen inventory management application developed by the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG®) program. Behind caTissue resides the most sophisticated vocabulary resource services in biomedical research today. When these vocabulary services are combined with the capabilities of the national cancer grid (caGrid) cancer researchers are able to both syntatically and symantically share data in a fully interoperable way between research centers. This level of interoperablity opens new avenues of collaboration in cancer research that have not been possible before. We have made it easy for you to get access to this ground breaking software by offering it as a service from our hosting facilities on an easy to get monthly subscription basis.
